Alessandra Sacilotto

I began my legal career during university and have focused on immigration law since 2023, though my personal connection to this field dates back to 2016. After attending a specialized high school for humanities and foreign languages in Italy, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Legal Studies from the University of Oregon, along with an Associate of Arts. My background includes experience as a research assistant in immigration policy and specialized training in child abuse and neglect advocacy through the Clackamas County Dependency Court.

Since I was a child, I have felt the calling to serve the most vulnerable individuals and families seeking safety, stability, and protection. Throughout my career, I have handled a wide range of immigration matters—including family and employment-based petitions—but my deepest commitment has always been to humanitarian relief. This includes representing survivors of crime and trafficking, immigrant youth who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected, and immigrants seeking protection under the Violence Against Women Act. I have also worked extensively in removal defense and asylum, standing alongside clients as they navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives. What drives me in this work is the privilege of advocating for our most vulnerable community members. Each client’s story reminds me of the resilience and courage that shape our nation, and I feel honored to support people who, despite great hardship, fight hard for a safer, brighter future. I bring empathy, personal experience, attention to detail, and strong multilingual communication skills to my work. I am fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish, and proficient in German.

As a proud first-generation immigrant and college graduate, I am grateful for my parents’ sacrifices, which have made my journey possible.

Outside the office, you will find me reading, cooking, dancing, or enjoying water activities like swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Greece holds a special place in my heart for its rich culture, delicious food, and stunning coastline.

A fun fact: competing in many seasons of Mock Trial all over the US gave me the tools to sharpen my multilingual public speaking skills and gave me confidence in the court room.
